Friday morning started with an early morning trip to the airport for Andrew, Tyree, her sister to head back to Texas. When Mick arrived back home from the airport run, we loaded the cars, and headed to Gettysburg and Philadelphia for the weekend. The picture on the left is at the new circle theater they have at the new visitors center at Gettysburg. Two cars took tours of the battle grounds, and Mick Jamie and I toured the Eisenhower home since we have done the battlegrounds twice before. What a beautiful home. I love touring old homes. The Eisenhowers lived here full time after his presidency, except they went to Palm Springs after New Years day and spent 4 months in the warmer weather. Smart I am thinking. After the Gettysburg adventures, we loaded up adn drove to Phildelphia where we had dinner in a pub. That was an adventure. We also stayed in the historic Bond Home in downtown Philadelphia.
